SONNY LEE, Ph.D.

Dr. Sonny Lee is a recognized visionary, well-respected leader, and honorable dignitary, who promotes world peace, humanitarian efforts and environmental harmony. Whether focused on the national or international sector, successful business enterprise, or global development projects, Dr. Lee is a consummate professional who is dedicated toward improving the world in which we live.

Politics
Dr. Sonny Lee is extremely active in the political arena with four different National Republican Organizations – RNC,NRSC,NRCC,and RGA as a nationally recognized Leader. He currently serves as the Honorary Chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) for the State of New Jersey, a member of the Republican Governor’s Association (RGA), a Team Leader of RNC and a distinguished
Representative for Bush/Cheney 2004 re-election campaign.

He was inducted as a Life Member of the Republican Senatorial Inner Circle (RSIC) on March 1, 2002 in Washington, D.C. The Republican Leadership of the United States Senate, the Chairman of the Republican Senatorial Inner Circle, and the Chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, presented Dr. Sonny Lee with the rights and privileges that accompany inclusion on the Ronald Wilson Reagan Founder’s Wall.

He is a Chairman of Korean American Republican Organization of Greater New York and appointed as a Chairman of National Asian-American Republican Organization Eastcoast 17 States on February 2004. He is a Co-Chairman to represent Korean – Americans in the United States. He successfully performed a presidential reception at Whippany, New Jersey as a Vice-Chairman on December 2003.

He was a host committee chairman for “NAARC” convention which was affiliated with
RNC convention at Madison Square Garden August 2004. He received many thanks from Republican Party Leadership for unselfish dedication and excellent leadership.

The President of Korea, Kim Dae-Jung, 2000 Nobel Peace Prize winner, has appointed Dr. Lee to serve on the Advisory Council of the Democratic Peaceful Unification of the Government of Korea for two terms of four years and New President Noh, Moo-Hyun re-appointed Dr.Lee for another two years 2003 to 2005.

As a Honorary Chairman of NRCC and Lifetime Member of the RSIC, Dr. Lee serves as liaison with the national policy-makers in Washington, D.C. to promote world trade and global harmony. He advises the American-Korean economic agenda.

World Contributions
Dr. Lee was on the team that ensured the Federal Disaster Relief Fund became immediately available after the collapse of the NY World Trade Center and attack of the United States Pentagon on “9/11”. Until that time, funds were on hold by the U.S. Congress. The immediate release of funds stabilized world commerce, and saved major corporations, retailers and small businesses from going out of business.

Prior to September 11, 2001, Dr. Lee was instrumental in rebuilding the Asian and Korean economy after the collapse of the Asian Economy Crisis in November 1997. He formed a delegation of financial institutions to bring foreign capital to Korea. In four years time, Dr. Lee’s significant efforts encouraged the growth of the Korean economy. Korea was the first country to rise out of economic ruin from the Asian Economy Crisis. During the Crisis, two million Korean people were unemployed. Today’s unemployment has been dramatically lowered.

Dr. Lee was also on the team, which facilitated the upgrade of Korea’s aviation, air traffic regulations and safety standards. He worked with the Korean Government officials to satisfy the FAA rules and regulations, and turned Korea’s aviation standards from a 2nd grade classification back into 1st grade class in three months time. As a result, Korea was able to co-host the World Cup 2002 without disturbance. Korean national soccer team ranked fourth in the world.

Corporations
Besides his political affiliations, Dr. Sonny Lee oversees several corporations. As Chief Operating Officer of E-POL, a worldwide organization working closely with WTO, FBI and INTERPOL to protect world trade, Dr. Lee supports the vision of Inspector Joseph Sullivan, the Founder of E-POL. Dr. Lee actively promotes E-POL through twelve Pacific Rim countries: Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, China, Mongolia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, the Philippines, New Zealand and Australia for internet trade protection.

In 1991, Dr. Lee established the Great American International Trading Corporation in New York to market Ginseng alcoholic beverages. The U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms approved the manufacturing and marketing of Ginseng Wine and Cognac. Dr. Lee successfully sold his firm to a French Cognac company.

During his three-year term as Vice President of Sales for Excellent Sportswear, Inc., Dr. Lee achieved sales growth nine times greater than previous years. Since its foundation, Dr. Lee served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Core Technological, Inc., a distribution company of semi conductors. He is currently the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of GAIDC.

Development
Dr. Lee has become an active player of the Seoul Metro Government for the development of real estate and the re-construction of existing multi-plex apartment and commercial buildings, including site modernization and affective management. Since South Korea has been the Host of the 1988 Olympics and the 2002 World Cup, the country has been elevated to worldwide recognition as a prominent player. He has focused on the after-market value of the Yoido Site, and has determined the site will become a gold mine upon completion of the Civic World Korea Project. Youido is an important sector of Seoul, where the Korean National Assembly resides, and includes major financial institutions, foreign embassies, and four major television broadcast companies, film production studios. Dr. Lee has become deeply engaged in real estate development, supervising commercial property development, shopping malls and hotel/office tower building projects in the U.S.A.

Dr. Sonny Lee is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of G.A.I.D.C. – Great American International Development Corporation. He is currently working on developing a US 30 billion dollars commercial project in Korea to include: a major world class theme park, recreational amenities, 36-hole championship golf course, retail complex, 5 major resort hotels, major film and television production studios and 40,000 unit residential condominium apartment.

Awards
Dr. Lee has most recently been awarded “Asian Academic Hall of Fame “ Award
by the Whitehouse and Asian Leaders Association. This award was given to present Secretary of Transportation, Norman Mineta and Secretary of Labor, Elaine Chao at the first time.

Dr. Sonny Lee has recently been awarded second time the Republican Senatorial Medal of Freedom, “the highest honor the Republican members of the U.S. Senate can bestow.”

He was awarded the Congressional Medal of Distinction, presented “in recognition of Outstanding Leadership and Vision” by the National Republican Congressional Committee.

Dr. Lee has received the 2000, 2003 and 2005 Businessman of The Year Award, presented “in recognition as one of the top U.S. business leaders who has successfully integrated business and financial success with the support of Republican ideals.”

In 1987, Dr. Lee became a recipient of the Paul Harris Award from the International Rotary Foundation, “in appreciation of tangible and significant assistance given for the furtherance of better understanding and friendly relations between people of the world.” In addition, Dr. Lee has been an active member of the New York Rotary Club since 1990.

It comes as no surprise that Dr. Lee has earned many distinctive honors and achievements. At the impressionable age of 19, Sonny was the youngest member to be inducted into the Korean-Danish Society, an honorable, diplomatic organization, established to enhance relationships between Korean and Scandinavian members: Denmark, Sweden and Norway.

He received a certificate after successfully finished his executive program study at Harvard Business School.

Dr. Sonny Lee received his BBA/MBA from Pace University and earned a Ph.D. in Marketing from Pacific Coast University. He is married with two children, and resides in New Jersey.
